Five Statistical Summary
1-First Quartile
The lower half of the data set. one-fourth(25%) of the data set lies below the first quartile . Three-fourth(75%) of the data lies above the first quartile.
2-Third Quartile
The upper half of the data set. three-fourth(75%) of the data set lies below the third quartile . one-fourth(25%) of the data lies above the third quartile.
3-Median : Second Quartile
The median of the entire data set. one-half(50%) of the data set lies below the second quartile . one-half(50%) of the data lies above the second quartile.
4-Minimum
5-Maximum
6-Whisker
7-The lower fence
8-The upper fence
The interquartile range
The difference between 75th and 25th percentiles, or between upper and lower quartiles.
